Steve DeBlasi is the Founder and has been the Director of The Bulldog Ball Club’s baseball and softball program for children in the Metropolitan New York area since 2003. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology. Steve is a former collegiate pitcher at the University of Georgia where he earned his BA and was a member of the 1990 Division I National Championship Team.
Steve was an assistant coach at Suffolk University and Babson College in Boston, MA from 2000-2003. He was an assistant with the Orleans Cardinals of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League from 2001-2004. During his tenure on the Cape, Steve had the privilege of coaching some of the best collegiate players in the country. He has coached over 60 players drafted in the Major League Baseball amateur draft, including 4 first round and 4 second round choices. There are 10 players currently playing in the Major Leagues that Steve has coached over the years. Steve directed the Orleans Cardinals Baseball clinic and has worked for numerous baseball facilities providing group and individual instruction. Steve lives on the Upper East Side with his wife and two sons.
