After School Program (1 Day/Week, 8 Weeks)The Bulldog Ball Club after school program covers throwing, catching, pitching, hitting, base running, infield and outfield play. Each session starts with skill building exercises and finishes with an instructional game. The three main objectives of the program are to have fun while demonstrating sportsmanship, to build skills, and to “learn” the game and the proper way to play. Periodically during games, the necessary time will be taken to explain the rules, and the finer points of the game. Space is limited to allow for appropriate coach to child ratio. Cost: $320 6-8 Year Old Summer Camp (3 Hours/Day, 5 Days/Week)The Bulldog Ball Club baseball camp will focus on all aspects of baseball skills (baserunning, throwing, catching, hitting, infield play, outfield play, pitching, and above all sportsmanship). The first hour of each day will focus on skill building exercises and will finish with an instructional game where the skills will be put into action. The three main objectives of the camp are to have fun while demonstrating sportsmanship, to build skills, and to “learn” the game and the proper way to play. Periodically during games, the necessary time will be taken to explain the rules, and the finer points of the game. Cost: $345 4-5 Year Old Summer Sessions (1Hour/Day, 5 Days/Week)The Bulldog Ball Club baseball program will focus on all aspects of baseball skills (baserunning, throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, and above all sportsmanship). Each child will be taught the proper mechanics of throwing, catching, and hitting during the skills portion of the program. The focus of the second half of each session will be on implementing the skills built in a game setting. Each child will leave the program with a better understanding of the rules of the game as well increased skills. Cost: $200 Individual InstructionHitting Hitters will learn the proper mechanics, and the strategy and approach to hitting. Proven hitting drills are used to emphasize and reinforce the proper mechanics. Pitching Covers all aspects of pitching, including: mechanics, grips and pitches, controlling the running game, pick-offs, pitchers’ fielding practice, base coverage, changing speeds, and a long-toss program. Each pitcher will look to improve velocity and command of all pitches by learning the proper mechanics to increase performance and prevent injury. Each pitcher will receive a Pitching Program Manual that covers all aspects of pitching. Throwing Players will learn the proper throwing mechanics to enable a correct arm swing. Throwing drills are necessary to improve incorrect mechanics and reinforce correct ones to prevent injury and improve performance.
